TRAILBLAZER & BOBCAT GUI

Miller Electric reached out to Design Central when they knew they needed appropriate GUI as well as documentation to bring their new weld machine launches to life.

With the hardware nearly complete, our client's team wanted an interface that was simple, that spoke to the Miller brand, and even more importantly usable, given the environment the machines would be operated in. The Trailblazer and Bobcat are two similar weld models designed to be used outdoors in variable conditions; even in direct sunlight.

Aside from the GUI, the team requested prototypes that could be user tested on customers prior to the final refinements and ultimate documentation of the guidelines.

MY ROLE

The goal was to create in identity that represented the white-glove all inclusive service that Constant Closings offers to their clients. Growth, scaling, efficiency, and confidence were all brand attributes to keep in mind during the exploration and refinement of the logo.

Finding a balance of recognition, professionalism, and flexibility.

SOLUTION

The final logo mark helps incorporate the new business’ double C acronym while tying itself to the housing market with the appearance of a property. Pairing the brand mark with a clean, modern Avenir type allows for versatility, as either can stand alone or be paired together.
